ABOUT

Paradigm Kids is a cooperative educational environment created by the determined efforts of two FiDi mothers with a vision of building an inspiring neighborhood school for their own children. This thoughtfully designed program is supported by a diverse team of passionate and experienced educators who work collaboratively to develop the curriculum, teach in the classrooms, and manage the administration. Their spirited devotion to this innovative culture celebrates the partnerships between parents and teacher and allows each family to be a valued part of the school community.

PRESCHOOL

Paradigm Kids is a community-centered facility offering an innovative full-day and half-day educational program for children ages 18 months – 5 years. We provide an intimate and inspiring environment which nurtures each child’s individuality, intellect, curiosity, and imagination.

Our approach to teaching combines structured play, academic learning, and emergent themes, and emphasizes the development of self-confidence, creativity, independence, and respect. Our daily curriculum incorporates music, movement, literacy, foreign language, math, science, and visual arts, in addition to an enrichment activity led by a specialist each morning or afternoon.We believe an active and productive parent/teacher partnership is the cornerstone of every child’s early educational experience and we achieve this through strong lines of communication and ongoing family participation. Our goal is to embrace the connections between home, school, and the community and empower our children to discover their passion for learning, both inside and outside the classroom.
